I ride and specialize in Bitless Bridles. Any of the bridles on this page can be made to order in any size, colour or material. I have a local company that make bitless bridles especially for me. We have a choice of materials - apollo, which is the same material as the zilco range, webbing, leather and cormorant, which is like a leather look a like in black. We can get any size made for your horse, and you can have a choice of brass or stainless steel fittings.
I cannot stock all the sizes, material and colours of the different Biltess Bridles, so below are just a few examples of the types and styles of the bitless bridles available. All horses respond differently to the different bitless bridles, so it`s important to let your equine friends choose the right one for him/her. Please do not let anybody tell you that there is only one bitless bridle, as you can see from my site there are loads to choose from and at very reasonable prices.
Reins are extra, and I have a selection of different types of reins to match the bridles in different widths and lengths. Also we do stock some lovely plaited reins in an array of colours.

Nurtural Bitless Bridles
 Vida modelling the Nurtural Bridle | New to Bitless and Barefoot is the Nurtural Crossover bridle from Canada. It is different from other crossover bridles as it has the patenteteAd Circle X feature as you can see from the picture on the left. With loose reins, the bridle applies no pressure. Pressure and release is the way this bridle works. The circle X keeps the straps on the widest part of the jaw, where they are most effective. Material is Beta, synthetic leather. Hackamore Bitless Bridles
 Vida modelling both of the Hackamores | Pictured here is an Apollo Hackamore made here in Wales. Hackamores work with pressure around the poll and nose. If you look at the cheek pieces you will see neoprene cheek guards. These are additional, but if you would like a pair to go with your bridle please contact me. Sizes - Arab/Cob.  | These synthetic Hackamores come in an array of lovely colours. The material is webbing (polypropylene). The noseband is padded. You can have a choice of brass or stainless steel fittings. The cheek pieces will always be in the silver. This Hackamore has cheek guards on the metal cheek pieces. They are made of neoprene. These are not included in the price, but are available on request. Scawbrig Bitless Bridles
 Rachel modelling the Scawbrig | Here you can see a lovely Scawbrig Bitless Bridle in Apollo Material. Scawbrigs are gentle bridles and work by gentle pressure around the jaw. Great for starting youngsters, long lining and of course riding in. Sizes Arab/Cob. Colours - Sky Blue (pic) Red and Purple. These can be made in any size or colour at no extra cost. Crossover Bitless Bridles
 Baloo modelling the Crossover Bridle | Crossover Bitless bridles work with all over head pressure. As you can see from the picture the straps cross over under the jaw. These bridles are made in the Apollo material, easy to clean, just wipe down. The fittings are stainless steel. These bridles are very adjustable, they fit Arabs and up to 16.2hh horses.  Shahma modelling the webbing Crossover Bridle | Crossover Bitless bridle in the webbing material (polypropylene). All the fittings on this bridle are brass, but you can have the choice of stainless steel for a little extra. The noseband is padded. Where the straps crossover under the jaw there is a brass ring to help the straps release after pressure is applied. We have a lovely choice of colours, so please ask for some colour samples. Sidepull Bitless Bridles
 | Sidepull Bitless Bridle in the Apollo material. The nose is padded and the fittings are brass. As you can see from the picture, the reins are attached to the nose band via rings. This is a very gentle bridle, no harsh pressures, basically a headcollar but nicer. This sidepull modelled by Toskin has a jaw strap, as you can see from the pic, and no throat strap. The royal blue webbing one (below) modelled by Vida has a throat strap and no jaw strap. This is just a matter of preference. I ride in both designs. Price - £45.00 Please request colour samples.
